Remember when I first set out to start spinning? Well, even though I’ve endured two quarters of hell (aka my last year of architecture school with 20 and 22 units respectively) I’ve still been knitting aplenty. And I can say that my spinning has much improved! My first yarn ball (the maroon one on the right) is quite dreadful whereas the grey single that I’m almost done spinning (on the left) is oodles better.
Yay for spinning! I’m definitely almost ready to purchase a spinning wheel; I told myself that is what my Christmas and birthday monies can get for me….AFTER this horrific senior thesis project is over. I’m super excited to get more roving (or even fleece from school) and spin some more. However, I didn’t realize how hard drop spindling can be on your fingers; my index fingers are definitely somewhat sore. I think I’m going to take off a couple of days to rest those fingers and possibly start some amigurumi. Perhaps if I feel like procrastinating even more, I’ll get some finished object images up from last quarter (glove/mittens, cowl, hats, etc). Or perhaps my spring break trip to Hawaii! Have a beautiful Tuesday!
